I remember the night that changed my life. I was 18, wandering
through life, and living for myself. It was Sunday evening and my wife and I
attended church as usual. The service was so powerful, but I resisted the pull of
the Holy Spirit and left the service without accepting God’s gift of love. Later that
evening, as I sat alone in the car in our driveway, I was overwhelmed by the
sweet presence of God. I felt love like I’d never known. I wept uncontrollably as I
surrendered my life to Jesus. That night gave me purpose and would change the
course of my entire life. Since then my life has been dedicated to sharing the life
and love of Jesus with the world. God has given me the gifts of Preaching,
Teaching, Music, Writing, and Photography to share His love with others, and I
will spend my life expressing His life and love through these gifts. I pray that you
come to experience the love of God that has been expressed in the life and
death of Jesus, and I pray that you come to see how wonderful you are and just
how amazing your life can be when you let Jesus love you and give His life to
you. Kathy and I have been on this journey since 1985, and we currently serve
as Lead Pastors of Austin Alive Church, a wonderful community of believers.
